On this morning's episode we talk electric vehicles and steam cars. When do you think the first electric car took to the streets? Here is a hint. Henry Bliss was the first pedestrian struck and killed by an automobile. This was in 1899, and the vehicle was an electric taxi cab. 

What was the first automobile to set a speed record of 150 miles per hour? A 1906 Stanley, a steam car.
