Today it houses a church, a wine bar, a barbecue restaurant and a wood fired pizza eatery. This is the expansive and stylish Central Commerical Building in Kingman, Arizona tha opened in 1917.

Located along Route 66, Fort Reno has a long, colorful and controversial history. Dating to 1874 it continued to serve as a military facility into the late 1940s.
There is a connection to the legendary Buffalo Soldiers, Amelia Earhart, Will Rogers, General Sheridan and General Custer, and even WWI and WWII. The chapel built by German POWs during WWII is another tangible link to the forts fascinating history. But, perhaps, one of the most intriguing things to see at the fort is its one of a kind cemetery.
