I have waited a long time to say say this. On this weeks program we get our kicks under Route 66. It's an adventure of the subterranean kind. Along the way we find a great place for pie, learn about a legend tied to Jesse James, and discover a place to beat the heat in the Mojave Desert. This program is sponsored by Grand Canyon Caverns, and support of our crowdfunding initiative.

If you are a fan of classic movies, this program is for you. If you like obscure trivia about celebrities, this program is for you. If you like to link your road trip adventures to classic cinema, then this program is for you.
This week we find a place where Easy Rider and The Grapes of Wrath crossed paths, and learn about Bette Davis's forgotten visit to Cuba, Missouri. We have a gruesome incident on Route 66 that transformed a celebrity, follow Gene Autry to Oklahoma, and find out that Pamela Anderson exposed a bit to much on Route 66.
This weeks program is brought to you by the one and only Wagon Wheel Motel in Cuba, Missouri. This little roadside gem has been providing weary travelers a place to lay the head for more than seven decades, and is today a revered landmark where memories are made.
The program is also sponsored in part by support of our crowdfunding initiative.

This week it's time travel and some automotive trivia (better to fill the head with useless knowledge than no knowledge at all). We visit Michigan's forgotten "Motor City's" and a couple of interesting auto museums, learn a bit about David Buick, Henry Ford, and Louis Chevrolet, and I share a bit of family history. Are you ready for an adventure? Well let's go! This weeks program is sponsored by Gilligan's Route 66 Tours, and support of our crowdfunding initiative.

This weeks program is sponsored by the Blue Swallow Motel and Roadrunner Lodge in Tucumcari, New Mexico, and support of the crowdfunding initiative on the Patreon platform.
